WHUP FM Fall Fundraiser Event

A re-issuing of the 50/50 Fundraising Event focused this time on the Orange County Arts to directly benefit musicians and artists who were missing out on their regular income due to COVID lockdown restrictions.

A re-issuing of the 50/50 Fundraising Event focused this time on the Orange County Arts to directly benefit musicians and artists who were missing out on their regular income due to COVID lockdown restrictions.

As Fall arrived, so did the WHUP FM fundraiser. The success of the Spring 50/50 Event led to a repeat in concept, this time focusing on musicians in Orange County, North Carolina, who were in need of financial assistance due to lost income from lack of live shows. The efforts were better than anticipated, with almost $8,000 raised in total through the event. With 50% of the proceeds going directly to WHUP FM’s operating budget, the other 50% went to musicians in need.

With a refreshed social media campaign, Erin Campbell Creative also provided direction and production of an email campaign using Mail Chimp for the station. With efforts directed at key demographics (regular subscribers, targeted donors, as well as key figures in the area), the event was able to reach a previously untapped resource for the nonprofit organization. Not only did the campaign pay off financially, Erin Campbell Creative was able to help set up an analytics program for the station to help them make smarter and more strategic decisions in the future.
